Many organizations have invested in climate risk analysis in response to regulatory requirements, market expectations, and voluntary disclosures, but often struggle to translate those insights into decisions that meaningfully guide the business beyond just completing the exercise.
This session, hosted by 3R Sustainability and Climate X, focuses on using climate risk insights to assess and manage business disruption risk. Using Climate X data, we will walk through how to interpret direct risks to assets and indirect risks across operations and supply chains, and how to turn those insights into decisions.
The focus is on real-world applications, particularly for manufacturing and asset-intensive businesses, with practical examples of how to prioritize risks and inform planning and strategy.
Attendees will:
- Understand how Climate X’s risk insights—including both direct and indirect physical climate impacts—can be translated into concrete business decisions
- Learn practical approaches to prioritize risks across assets and portfolios
- Navigate and reconcile conflicting or uncertain risk signals
- Gain a clear, actionable workflow to integrate climate risk into operations and strategy
