Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership Summit

  • Description: Attendees will learn about innovative approaches in fulfilling missions and to move beyond the boundaries of their sectors to know the value of multi-disciplinary alliances. Speakers will discuss concrete actions that look to the future and achieve success. You will also be working toward your own program goals during this Summit. You will have an opportunity to discuss how you will take action based on the presentation you just heard and “pitch” your ideas to colleagues and receive comments.

Energy Smart Operations: From Fleets to Facilities

Tree Tender’s Course

Sustainability 101: What are the Components of a Green and Healthy School?

Living Building Challenge 4.0: Pittsburgh

  • Description: The Living Building Challenge (LBC) calls for the creation of building projects that operate as cleanly, beautifully, and efficiently as nature’s architecture. This workshop’s objectives are to discuss the rationale for restorative design principles; recognize financial, regulatory, and behavioral barriers and incentives related to high-performance design; describe the requirements for designing high-performing, sustainable, and resilient building projects; and understand successful strategies for compliance in each performance area. GPRO Operations and Maintenance Essentials

  • Description: Designed to provide building professionals with the critical tools to transition from conventional to sustainable operations, GPRO O&M is ideal for property managers and building staff in multi-family residential & high-rise commercial buildings. Upon completion of this course, students will become GPRO Certificate Holders in Fundamentals of Building Green and Operations & Maintenance Essentials (O&M). (Registration Required)
